What tools do I need to assemble this kit?
You will need a few basic armorers tools: a punch set, a nylon or brass hammer, and an armorer’s block. The kit includes a channel liner installation tool for that specific critical step. A quality set of screwdrivers and a torque wrench are also recommended for sight installation if your slide is not pre-cut.
Is the lower receiver (frame) included?
No, federal law regulates the frame as the firearm. This kit includes EVERYTHING else you need. You will need to source a compatible Gen 3 G26 frame separately, either through an FFL transfer for a factory frame or as a Polymer80 or similar 80% frame for a completely custom build.
Is the slide milled for an optic?
This specific kit includes a standard slide that is not pre-milled for a red dot optic. However, the clean, flat top profile is ideal for sending to a milling service for your specific optic footprint. We offer slide milling as a separate service; contact our team for details.
