Is this a true drop-in part, or is fitting required?
This is a complete, drop-in assembly. It is machined to standard Glock specifications and is designed to fit directly onto your factory Glock 19 frame (Gen 3-5) without modification. Simply field strip your current pistol, remove your old slide, and install this assembly. As with any aftermarket component, we recommend a full function check with your chosen ammunition before regular use.
Does the RMR cut include sealing plate or screws?
Yes. The slide comes with a set of mounting screws compatible with popular micro red dots like the Trijicon RMR and Holosun 407C/507C series. For optics that require a sealing plate to ensure water resistance (specifically the Trijicon RMR), you must use the plate provided by your optic manufacturer, as it is not included with the slide.
Are the sights co-witnessed with an optic?
Absolutely. The included suppressor-height sights are specifically chosen to provide a lower 1/3 co-witness when a micro red dot sight is installed. This allows you to use the iron sights as a backup through the optic window, maintaining a clear primary view of your dot while giving you a reliable secondary aiming reference.
What is the benefit of the nitride finish?
Nitride (sometimes called Melonite or Tenifer) is a salt bath ferritic nitrocarburizing process that hardens the metal surface to extreme levels. It offers superior lubricity, incredible resistance to wear and corrosion, and maintains consistent dimensions unlike thicker coatings. This results in a slide that is exceptionally durable, smooth-racking, and easy to clean, making it a professional-grade finish.
