Is this LPK compatible with Gen 4 or Gen 5 Glock 19 frames?
This Lower Parts Kit is specifically engineered for the Gen 3 Glock 19 platform, which is the standard for the vast majority of custom polymer frames like Polymer80. It is not directly compatible with OEM Gen 4 or Gen 5 frames due to design changes in the trigger mechanism, slide stop lever spring, and magazine release. Always verify compatibility with your specific frame manufacturer before purchase.
Does the kit include a trigger?
Yes, this is a complete kit containing all necessary parts. It includes the trigger shoe, trigger bar with integrated safety, and the cruciform-style striker engagement tab. The trigger bar interfaces with the included “dot” connector to provide the classic, consistent Glock trigger feel. For a different pull weight or break, you can easily upgrade the connector while using the rest of the kit’s components.
What tools do I need for installation?
Installing a Glock LPK requires some specific tools for a smooth process. Essential tools include a quality set of roll pin punches (1/16″ and 3/32″), a small brass or nylon hammer, and a set of needle-nose pliers. A pivot pin tool or a small flathead screwdriver is also helpful for installing the trigger mechanism housing pin. We recommend using a dedicated armorers block to securely hold your frame during assembly.
