What tools are required to complete the 80% frame?
Completion requires a standard hand drill or drill press, a 3/8″ end mill bit for the fire control pocket, and common workshop safety equipment. The included jig provides precise guidance for all drilling operations. While the process is straightforward for those with moderate mechanical aptitude, patience and careful attention to the instructions are crucial for achieving a flawless, reliable final product. We recommend using a vise to securely hold the jig during milling.
Is the finished frame compatible with OEM Glock parts?
The PF45 frame is designed to be compatible with Generation 3 style Glock 20 (10mm) and Glock 21 (.45 ACP) factory components and aftermarket parts kits. This includes slides, barrels, recoil spring assemblies, and lower parts kits. However, due to variances in aftermarket manufacturing, we always recommend verifying compatibility with your chosen components. The frame uses standard Glock-pattern magazines for its respective caliber.
Do I need an FFL or background check to purchase this kit?
